I started out at Avanti around two years ago and what stands out here is that everyone loves each other. We stick by each other through the good times and the bad. The engineers here rely on me and that gives me great joy and I consider it very valuable to me. Their reliance also makes me bring forth all my efforts and expertise so I can prove myself more and more. Work is a responsibility and when someone entrusts you with something, don’t break their trust. This focuses my attention to even the smallest of details and when the workday ends, I feel like I don’t want to leave. It’s like I want all the work to be done before the day’s end and to somehow pay respect to the workers who stay up late with us. I hope that the company grows till it touches the clouds because it is blessed. I hope it stays number one in the field because whenever Avanti grows, we grow too. Apart from that, it’s enough that it makes us feel respected, unique and valued
We, Tension Technology Martin, are Italian manufacturer of anchorage systems for Post Tensioning applications. We started the co-operation with AVANTI for Advanced Construction, three years ago, at time AVANTI was just established.
The young and forward-looking management, with their genuine staff have brought us straightforward to the construction and infrastructure environments of the Egyptian market, unknow to us at that time.
Together with AVANTI, we have been directly involved in several of Egypt’s 2030 Vision megaprojects, like the in-progress High Speed Rail. We are proud to be a key player with AVANTI in the building and bridge sectors using the advanced technology of post-tensioning. Thank you AVANTI for the very good job and very good people.
I love working in mechanics and pulling things apart and putting them back together again. It always gives me joy when I find someone who wants to learn. I stick with them, monitor their learning curve and feel a sense of accomplishment in the end. I like my work to be organized and although I’ve been in the field for around 17 years, Avanti has added a lot to my experience. The TTM system was foreign at first, but we managed to learn a lot especially when specialized personnel came from Italy and taught us the technicalities of machinery maintenance.
When there is stability in a company, one feels at ease and can focus on the wellbeing of the work produced. The thought of looking for another job opportunity isn’t present even if that’s what’s normal. For me personally in the 3 years I’ve worked at Avanti, the thought never crossed my mind. Getting together with the team is always a nice familial thing. I feel like we are all similar, equal and part of one united team. That aspect always makes me feel proud of Avanti.
Avanti is one of the very unique companies that relies on the new generation with a professional approach. Truth be told their competence and time management has been proven in every single project I’ve been a part of. Avanti starts every project off right and ends it off in the same manner. There is always great planning and management which gives us great trust in the company and its employees. I hope they keep handling large scale projects while developing and maintaining their level of excellence as a company.
I’ve learned a lot in Avanti, from workers, technicians, supervisors and engineers. It’s an environment where everyone is happy to help. I always try to play a role in passing on knowledge to others to be rewarded by God and to aid in making a new generation excelling at work because we all complete one another. I consider work something to be done with integrity and thankfully I always feel valued by my peers. A word of thanks and appreciation at the end of the day is all I need. Avanti is my home that I’ve built block by block till we grew together. I hope there are only better things to come and I can witness the company moving forward from one success to the next
I’ve been supervising projects throughout my career with several companies till I crossed paths with Avanti in the Light Rail Train project. That was when I noticed the huge difference in potential and resources. Avanti is structured, practical, and continuously produce a high-quality level of work. The pre-stressing system and equipment used are comparatively superb. I never faced any delay in any of the projects I was supervising which led to me feeling confident whenever there was a contract awarded to Avanti because of the company’s credibility, availability of materials and resources, and the great crew of well trained and equipped engineers. I advise mixing in older tricks of the trade with new modernized knowledge to maximize the benefits and constantly follow up on new talents to ensure maintaining the company’s excellence.
I’ve worked in tourism and petroleum fields for most of my life until I joined Avanti. I’ve been here from the very beginning and next March will mark 3 years since I’ve joined. It feels like it’s only been a year! The thing I love most here is the feeling of stability and that we are all treated equally regardless of titles and positions. I was very pleased when I made suggestions and found that they were taken seriously into consideration and applied on ground with positive results. I consider this a blessing from Allah.
I treat Avanti the way I treat my car. I maintain and take good care of it, and Allah blesses me. The most important thing is working hard and earning your salary fair and square. The trust and appreciation I receive from my colleagues makes me feel like the company is my own and that we are all one big united family. I pray that Allah rewards this company and helps it grow because the more Avanti grows, the more it pulls us up and helps us all grow with it.
The internship program at Avanti wasn’t like any other program. I got exposed to a new engineering software, developed soft skills, and had real hands on experience at construction sites. Despite the gender challenges I expected to face, Avanti’s staff and environment made the site experience very interesting and beneficial. As a result, I developed a very solid background on post-tensioning putting me ahead of most my undergraduate colleagues and perhaps helping me boost my future career.
After spending 26 years abroad, I came back to Egypt and started my journey at Avanti in 2019. I consider the projects I’ve worked on including tunnels, stadiums and bridges as huge accomplishments. However, the thing that’s been constant and guaranteed is the punctuality in delivering projects and quality of work. More importantly on a personal level, I’m blessed to have felt satisifed. I thank god I’ve felt at ease and given enough freedom at work while constantly feeling supported by my team members who always help out no matter the issue.
Concrete to me is like my daily meal, that’s why my favorite part of the day is before clocking out when I’ve poured in the mould. The day that passes where I haven’t poured in the mould is like a day where I haven’t eaten and since I am from the founding workers of Avanti, I also consider myself part of the founders on paper.
